Widget issue - HTML5 vs SWF

Hi all,

Here's the setup:

CP 9.0.2.437

Project has 4 slides, each with the same image on it (could use image from master slide as well).  Slide 2 contains the YouTube Widget, slide 4 contains the digital clock widget.

Publish as SWF and view = NO ISSUE

Publish as HTML5 and view = ISSUE

The issue is that, when slide 2 or 4 starts, the whole thing flashes briefly. Everything visible disappears for a half-second. So, there is not a smooth continuity between slides 1 and 2 or between 3 and 4.  In my actual project, I have 5 slides out of 20 where I use the youtube widget - everything is great except that each of these 5 slides flash off and on as they start.

I've tried all sorts of things to try and work around it, but nothing I change has any impact. Run it locally vs online and via scorm.cloud.  I've already talked with customer support about this issue, but they claim that they are unable to reproduce the problem. So, any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

[feel free to download the test .cptx that I'm using]

I did find a workaround that I think will work: Master slide objects flicker during project...

It's not ideal because it means I can't take advantage of Master Slides.... but it fixes the issue I was having.
