Widget not appearing when previewing or publishing a training on Captivate 9

I have created two slides with widgets on Captivate 9 but when I preview the slide and publish the slide the widgets don't appear. I haven't added anything to the slide such as an effect or audio so I am at a lose as to why they aren't appearing.

If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it as this training needs to be live by Friday 12th January 2018!

Are you on the latest version of CP9? It is 9.0.2.347.

Which 'widgets' are you talking about? Some of them are not compatible with HTML5 output if that is how you want to publish. Is it a responsive or a normal project?

Preview the slide which is called 'Play the slide' is not a real Preview, you cannot test the functinality with that option. Depending on type of file (normal or responsive)  and the wanted output the best preview methods are in Browser (F12 - only for normal projects, for SWF output) or Preview HTML5 in Browser (for HTML5 output.

After publishing for HTML5 please follow Rod's advice.

Are you publishing as HTML5?

Have you tried uploading your content to a web server or LMS and testing from there?  (If not, do that.)
