wierd swf timing in HTML

Hey, I recently finished a Captivate video that has a few animated swf files. When I export it to HTML you get the swf file, HTML file and a java script. Now when I test the swf file everything is the way it should be. But when I try it out on the web one slide with a swf file animation is delayed by a few seconds. Im not too sure what do. THanks for any feedback.

Well I think I came to a minor fix. Instead of having it animate I having different highlight boxes fade-out on certain points. It'll still have the same effect but different.

Hmm, its wierd cause I have 6 small swf files that I use in the movie. And the one that is giving me problems is only the 4th biggest file.

Hi walsher

My own guess here is that the .SWF you are talking about is actually external to your project and you are seeing a delay as it loads up and prepares to play.

I'm not sure what you could do about it though. Maybe one of the Flash regulars here can offer some input.

Cheers... Rick
