Will I be able to open a Captivate 8 file in Captivate 7 without any problems?

I should say the project is not a responsive one, so it really shouldn't be that different. Just wondering if this is a good idea before attempting, thanks!

This has always been the case with Captivate: rarely you could open a file in a previous version. And change between 7 and 8 is considerable, this has nothing to do with trial version, it will be the same for a licensed version.

Even for non-responsive projects, I'm afraid you'll have some problems. Object styles in CP8 have been changed. Maybe copy/paste slides from the CP8 to CP7 would work, not sure.

Oh gosh-- it won't even let me open it!

Could it be because the Captivate 8 file is from a trial version?

I really hope it's not the case with regular CP8 files, because I have colleagues working on CP7, so this makes me really not want to upgrade :-/
