Windows User Name with a space issue?

I know that there was an issue with the update to Captivate 8 last October that if you had a space in your Windows User Name, you ran into preview issues. For example, if your user name was John Doe, you would get a 404 error.

Has this issue been solved yet? I would like to update, but creating a new user name is a challenge.
