Why can't I convert Captivate 6 to a word document?

You are able to publish to a Word document in a few different layouts (as handouts, storyboards etc) using the Print option in the Publish dialog window. You can also publish to an interactive PDF using the 'export PDF' tickbox in the SWF/HTML5 publish option.  But you can't convert the project to run in Word.

    Thank you.

I followed the instructions for publishing a word handout, but I get the following error:

Pubish to MS Word failed. Retry after ensuring that:

    -The document is not open

    -You have installed Microsoft Word.

The only thing I don't get is step 4:

    •   In Project Title, enter the desired name without the filename extension (.doc).

I don't have (.doc) at the end of my project name to remove.

    Hi There,

    Thanks for your response.

Please let me know the MS word version.

Also can you please launch captivate by right clicking on captivate icon and choose "Run as Administrator".

Also check the project name as it should not have any special character/characters (You can try changing the project title to "Test")

Then publish in the form of word doc.

    Thanks
