Word search widget not working on iPad (Captivate 8)

A colleague has created a word search using the Learning Interactions widgets that come with Captivate 8.

She's created it as a responsive project and when published we've tested it on an iPad 2 and you can't select any of the words or it'll only select a random few, not the ones you're trying to select.

Has anyone else had any similar issues with the built in Captivate 8 widgets on iPad?

When testing it on a desktop it works but, it's almost like the fact you're using it on a touch screen messes it all up.

Thanks

How's that possible?

I'm just using the out of the box word search widget that comes with Captivate 8?

Do you mean looking for a third party widget instead or do Adobe release updates to their Learning Interactions that you can download?

I mean that Adobe releases new versions of these Learning Interactions all the time and Captivate usually picks them up automatically.  You would see an UPDATED flag or NEW flag on the thumbnails for these in the Learning Interactions dialog.

However if you are in a corporate network with a firewall that might be blocking the updates from getting through, or if you don't happen to have full Administrator rights to your PC and are therefore not launching Captivate with Run As Administrator privileges, then your Learning Interactions might NOT be getting updated.

I don't have an iPad 3 or 4 to test it on unfortunately.

It's running iOS 8 which has only just been replaced by iOS9 so I figured Safari should be up to date.

I also tried in Chrome browser on the iPad without any luck either.

Then you need to try and get an updated version of your Learning Interaction.

IPad 2 is quite old.  Have you tested it on iPad 3 or 4?
