Working between Adobe CS6 32 and 64 bits

Hi, my co-worker and I work with Captivate CS6, I work using 32 bits and she is using 64 bits. Recently we have been having troubles opening files, either that Captivate stops responding while trying to open the file or a dialog box appears reading:"A fatal error has occured and the application is being terminated. Adobe Captivate has tried to save all your work in the respective folder as ".cpbackup" files. Please restart Adobe Captive." and closes Captive. At the odd times, the text fields will be invisible till they are selected.

Sounds like corrupted preferences.  If you search this forum you will find many many posts on this issue and how to find and rename/delete these preferences.

In Captivate 6 there's also a special .bat file utility at either of these folder locations:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 x64\utils

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 (32 Bit)\utils

You just need to close down Captivate and execute this batch file to clean out your preferences ready for Captivate to recreate them on next launch.
