Wrong/Old file in the 11.8.2 update package

A friend of mine tried to uppdate his 11.5 to 11.8.2 version.
Downloading from this page: https://helpx.adobe.com/captivate/help/captivate-downloads.html

In the folder it says CPTV_11.5.5. He installed it and yes its the same version he is sitting on now. He also tried the inbuilt uppdate function in captivate and it says that he is on the latest version.

How is this possible?

    Was his Captivate license a standalone license?

    He heas a private license if thats what you mean?
    Not sure what this has to do with the fact that when he downloads the 11.8.2 pacjage its 11.5 folder inside it?

    If you do not have a subscription license, then you will not be able to use the very latest update versions of Captivate 2019.  That's just the way Adobe is doing things.  So, if your friend has a standalone license, not a subscription, 11.8 or later will not be available as an update.
