Youtube widget with interactive button overlay

Hi, I'm trying to make a full screen interactive video with stopping/branching points using the youtube widget. When I publish/play, however, the youtube video appears to cover the buttons even though I have them on the top layer. Any suggestions on how to keep the buttons visible over the top of the youtube video? Thanks!

You can also set UseWidget7 = 1 in the AdobeCaptivate.ini file in the root of the Captivate installation folder. This will then honor the stacking order.

Please see the advice offered here:

Button layer over YouTube video gets hidden

TLCMediaDesign offered the following:

I think your best bet is the create an html page with html5 video and vtt closed captions. Place your buttons there in the html file. Zip and import as a web object.

I'm fairly certain that when a video goes full screen, nothing will be on top though.
