I'm trying to make a pdf accessible using cfhtmltopdf 2016. I need to add alt text to images, I have check boxes that need tool tips for screen readers, I have links that need a specific tab order, and I have lists that use bullets but the graphics are read as graphic mc-rev and I would like it to say bullet instead. Is it possible to change these things using cfhtmltopdf 2016?Thanks in advance!

During a vulnerability scan, my ColdFusion 2011 server was identified as having several Eclipse Jetty vulnerabilities (version 9.0.7.v20131107).  Will CF v11 be updated to address these?  Or, will I have to manually upgrade Jetty to the secured version -- and if so, how?

Hi there,I'm new to CF and trying to format a timestamp but no matter what I try I am unable to get the DateTimeFormat function to work successfully so I am hoping that some one with more experience might be able to quickly identify what I am doing incorrectly. We upgraded from ColdFusion 11 to ColdFusion 2016 and noticed in the ColdFusion 2016 admin, Mappings, /gateway Directory Path is pointing to the ColdFusion11 directory, while /CFIDE is pointing to ColdFusion2016.  Is this the correct setting?  If not, what should /gateway be set to and are there any other places that need to be changed?Thanks!

Hello, all,Where I work, we have to adhere to a very strict set of security protocols.  It makes my job difficult, most of the time.  More so than any other job I've ever worked.We have to follow STIG guidelines, typically 300-400 pages of instructions.  One of these guidelines states that we have to use httpOnly in our application.cfc/cfm files.  We also set that in the web.xml file, so it should apply to all projects running under CF.However, we have been informed by our security experts that there is a finding.  While they do see that we are using httpOnly, they claim that all of the session cookies have the httpOnly flag set, one of them is missing the secure flag.  No mention of which one.What am I missing, here?V/r,^ _ ^

I recently upgraded my web application from Coldfusion 9 to Coldfusion 2016. Right now the two version coexist on the server (RED HAT). I have already shut down cf9 and removed all the old connectors. CF2016 can successfully talking to Apache and our web application seems working perfectly with cf2016. However when I trying to access the Admin Page through https://my_web_application_url/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm​, the login page still shows cf9; after logged in, the logo at the upper left comer shows cf10; in the setting summery actually shows version 2016. The screenshots were attached below. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello,  I am migrating an application using an old version of Cold fusion(version 9 or before) and Crystal reports 8 to Windows Server 2016 and Crystal Reports 2013.  In the old application upon opening crystal reports the reports are launched within the browser in a new window. The same behavior is not happening on Windows 2016, I installed Crystal Reports viewer but this is working only when I use the Server to open and access the application. When I connect from other client PCs its not opening as it is looking for a Crystal Reports viewer on the clients. We had an issue recently that i needed to do a quick analysis of what emails were in undelivered folder.  For all my other servers i used the CF Admin to go to the Mail page and click "View Undelivered" which gives me to/from/subject in a table and a view to the formatted html in the messages.  All my servers but one.  That server throws the same error twice when i try to perform this action and then displays nothing.ERROR: Bind Failed, Element not found: mailitems [Enable debugging by adding 'cfdebug' to your URL paremeters to see more information]adding ?cfdebug after the url took me back to the administrator home page, but navigating again to mail > view undelivered mail threw the same errors but added no debugging.I have tried the following things to fix it:1. icacls on undelivr folder giving users full control of undelivr folder and all contents2. look for 0 length file in Undelivr folder - none found3. How can I troubleshoot and isolate a gradual build up of JDBC request to our database server (SQL) in CF 11. In the Fusion Reactor, the graph for JDBC starts to climb more and more. Slow web request start to build up also, and then overall web request response times (graph attached). I am an experienced Sys Admin but with little CF experience. I can provide more info as I'm sure it is pretty general. I have so far looked at network utilization (no latency) and resources at the OS level (memory, CPU and disk, NIC) are busy, but acceptable on both CF Servers (load balanced) and the database server. (I realize I need to look at the load balancer as well to be sure that is not having issues).When I restart the CF services, everything is fine for several hours even with a lot of connections/activity immediately resuming.  Is there anything I can do at the Cold Fusion level? Hello,I'm trying to force my <cfselect> results to push content down on a page instead of overlapping. I've tried wrapping the <cfselect> inside of a DIV that has been styled with a CSS (accordion).The accordion works, however, when I click on the drop down results instead of staying within the confinements of the DIV the results simply overlaps everything. Has anyone tried displaying their results in another manner using an accordion? Or,Has anyone been able to force the drop down to push the page's content down so it won't overlap?Thank you.

I know I can format the output of a date using DateFormat, but when the user clicks the download button, it directly downloads an excel file.I have a date field in MS SQL  It is not a datetime, but just date.  If I download the field directly I get {ts '2019-01-02 00:00:00'}.I tried CAST(MNCDate as Date) AS 'Collection Date' but got the same thing.Can I modify the way a date is displayed in the output from the query?  I want mm/dd/yyyy.Thank you{ts '2019-01-02   00:00:00'}

i have some code which reads a datetime field from an sql database and then formats it using lsparsedatetime.this has worked for years under previous CF versions and produces{ts '2018-01-11 08:00:00'} when passed2018-01-11 08:00:00.0read from SQL database.when passing this in CF2018 it refuses to format it but produces no error just the original 2018-01-11 08:00:00.0i have set <cfset loc = setlocale("English (UK)")>  on both machinesaccording to my hosting company the date/time settings are the same on both servers though the old server is running older versions of windows/iis/sql serverbut as the db date is the same when retrieved from both databases i can only assume CF is the issue?any help greatly appreciated

Is it possible to pass a value to a datefield cfinput?I have an edit form that is auto filled from a database - I can fill text fields by passing value to them.  I tried value and default in the type="datefield" and it doesn't seem to work.<cfset ThisDate= "2016/01/20"><cfform id="Add" name="Add" method="post" action="UpdateDonation.cfm" >     <cfinput name="test" type="text" value="#ThisDate#"> <--- Works but no date picker     <cfinput name="test" type="text" mask="yyyy/mm/dd" default="#ThisDate#"> <--- date picker, but no date prefilled     <cfinput name="test" type="datefield" mask="yyyy/mm/dd" default="#ThisDate#"> <---- Gives error</cfform>    What am I doing wrong?Thanks!

Good afternoon. One more doubt. I have a server with 4 cores and I want to buy ColdFusion 2018 Standard.Will I have to buy 02 licenses?

I inherited some order entry websites that have worked seemingly flawlessly for the past 3 years. Today I learned that 3 files didn't get sent to a customer last week, and I can confirm these files they should have gotten were never created on the server. However, I can find no entry in any of the log files (C:\ColdFusion11\cfusion\logs) that would indicate what the issue was. I would have expected some kind of exception to occur if a file could not be created or is that not that case? This part of the code does not contain any cftry / cfcatch blocks.
