Hello there,I have an issue on which I can't find any answer. I created cfwindow, which has more content than it can fit. If it is CF10, window has scrollbars, but with CF11 it doesn't. How can it be fixed? I updated CF11 to v11,0,03,292480.Thank you,Anton
Hi. We are in the process of migrating from Cold Fusion MX7 to Cold Fusion 11. Everything seems to be working except on a page that uploads parts into our database. This page uses 2 DLL files to upload the parts. The error message says: Unable to load library null. I'm not sure why. I put the files into the CFX folder and created the path to it in the Administrator page. I did find this online and tried copying the files into the System 32 and syswow64 folders, but this page still didn't work. Do we need to have the DLL files re-created to work with 64bit Windows? We faced a similar problem with 32bit ColdFusion on 64bit Windows. The called dll was in the same directory as the cfx dll. But the cfx could not find the called dll.We solved it by copying the called dll to the c:\windows\syswow64 directory. In your case, it would be c:\windows\system32Thanks.Andy
Aloha,I did a clean install of El Capitan.Trying to install ColdFusion 11 on my Mac using the new OS "El Capitan". The first part went okay, except I don't think that it had set up to use ColdFusion on port 80 as the CFIDE is in the wwwroot directory and not set up CFIDE in the main web root in the document folder for the main localhost. Then when I tried to do the second part using the web version of the setup, I get a 503 error. I tried using port 80 as well as port 8500, but nothing gets me to install ColdFusion 11.By the way, which java jdk is best for ColdFusion 11?Thank you,Johnny
I have a plain html file, content of which are dynamically generated (on accessing it) over a few seconds (about 7-10 second) like some tables, rows of which are added through javascript after doing some processing and this process takes about said 7-10 seconds.Using settimeout(), after 15 seconds (to ensure that content has been populated correctly), I am running a web service (.cfc with function having cfmail tag in it) through javascript ajax call which captures all html content of page and sends to marked email ids – which in normal course works fine – when page is accessed in web browser and left open for desired time of about 15-20 seconds. However, the same page when I schedule in CF admin (even with timeout of 60 second), it never fires the sending email part. Can I have some advise, where I am doing wrong!
Our organization has been using ColdFusion for many years now, however I'm relatively new here and to ColdFusion in general. We need to upgrade from ColdFusion 9 to ColdFusion 11 and are looking into potential issues or problems that such a migration might encounter. Are their known issues when doing this kind of migration?I don't know a lot about the majority of applications currently running on the server, only the ones I've worked with over the past 9 months, so I can't be too specific about the kinds of applications we will be moving, but none of them should be very complicated, as this server in particular is just a utility server. Is there a place where a list of issues or known problems with this kind of migration might be listed out and discussed?Any help or advice that you might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hello everyone, I'm working on the project where I have to pass few parameters and insert them in two different tables. Arguments that I passed in my first table are fine and I do not have any problems to insert those records but in my second table where I'm passing dynamic parameters I keep getting an error. That argument is created on the previous page from drop down. So If I select 1 in my drop down I will have just one input text box, If I select 2 I will have 2 and so on. So I used <cfdump var="#arguments#"> to pass all the arguments from that page. Dynamic arguments are passed like: combName_034-54-65combName_176-87-98combName_289-88-88So at this point I have three parameters but next time I might have only 1. So I'm getting confused how to Insert these records in my second table, also each of these combinations match value from drop down in my table. So combName_0 should be inserted in the same row where DropDown value = '1', combName_1 should match DropDown value= '

Hello, all,On a personal project at home, I'm trying to use ImageResize to resize an image pulled from a BLOB in a MySQL database. I'm getting an error message "unable to cast an object of [B to image." Have not a clue what that means. Here's my code.. SELECT imageBLOB, imageWidth, imageHeight FROM r_images WHERE imageID = <cfqueryparam value="#arguments.thisID#" cfsqltype="cf_sql_varchar" /> and.. variables.thisPicQry = new components.PICTURES().getAlbumPic('#trim(url.id)#'); ImageResize(variables.thisPicQry.imageBLOB,"50%",""); variables.thisImg = variables.thisPicQry.imageBLOB; I've never used ImageResize() before. The data from the database is already a binary; so what am I doing incorrectly?V/r,^_^
I was deploying ColdFusion 11 applications using J2EE configuration (WAR) in Linux server. I am using WebSphere as a application server. Basically, when we deploy through WebSphere it redeploys the whole war file which wipes out the local changes so you can lose any settings or anything you do in cfadmin console. we can't modify files locally on the WebSphere as it is not a good practice. Deploying manually through cfadmin console is not good moving forward. Is there any automated ways to potentially doing deployments. Does cfadmin has any API that can interact to deploy files via scripts.
I am in the process of upgrading from Coldfusion 9 to Coldfusion 11. My site relies heavily on interaction with Ldap for a variety of permissions assignments. The following code works in CF9, but CF 11 returns an error related to the filter: Attribute validation error for tag CFLDAP. This is the query: <cfldap username="myuser@mydomain" password="mypassword" action="query" server="DCNAME" name="UserLevelGroups" attributes="samaccountname, dn, memberof, directReports, manager, mail" start="dc=vno,dc=mydomain,dc=local" scope="subtree" filter="(&(objectclass=user)(!(|(name=*Service*)(name=*she*)(name=*vho*))(mail=*)))">
I have this function below and I tried to write the result of query to log file but it failed every time I ran. the CFLog tag as third line from the bottom. The 'see also' links on https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/cfml-reference/coldfusion-functions/functions-m-r/querynew.html are all broken.
I think that the file contains SQL queries, format tags to shape the content of the report, calculations and it's all saved as a .cfr file! Yes or no?Why aren't there any examples of the content of a CF report file...yes the simple report is on the site and that's it?
I have a site built in coldfusion. I want to add a feature to the site where the user can click a button and be directed to a page, when the new page opens a timer would start and when the user leaves that page then the timer would stop. This would basically track the amount of time the user (a member of my organization) spent on this page. Is it possible to add a timer feature like this to my site?
Title Text here series-amps.gif is 800px high by 16px wide. It is shifted to display the correct image slice with css background-position: 0 -50px; the overflow within the H4 tag (height 24px) is hidden with css overflow: hidden. works fine as html, but CFdocument's PDF output displays the full 800px high image, not positioned, nor overflow in H4 hidden. any ideas?
Is it possible to open a file in coldfusion ?My problem is I have a list made with cfdirectory and I want to open the files (.txt) in this list via the browser.
We have been running CF 11 U5 for a while now with no problems at all. We run CF Enterprise on IIS 8.5 on Server 2k12 64bit.Recently a few of our clients have been complaining that when they upload files via our various methods of file uploads they get errors back. These errors are browser errors telling them connection has been reset, or page cannot be display etc. This only seems to happen once the file size goes above 300-400kb. We have no restrictions in IIS as 95% of our other clients have no trouble uploading files up to 200MB.Nothing has changed to any of the code that runs these uploads. We have a mixture of standard pages with form post which CF then uploads the image to some pages that use jquery file upload plugins which post to CF pages that do the upload. It doesn't seem that anything is ever uploaded and the user gets the error back pretty quickly within 2-5 seconds of starting the upload. The uploaded files are usual images (jpg) or zip files. This only seems to affect a li
We're runnig CF8 on Solaris 9. I'm uploading an image and simply reading it to the browser. Why am I getting this error message? An exception occured while performing the writeToBrowser cfimage action. coldfusion.image.ImageReader$UnsupportedImageFormatException: The png|jpg|jpeg|gif image format is not supported on this operating system. The error occurred in /opt/httpd/docroot/www/oirm/das/idb/cf8present/upload/upload.cfm: line 25 Also, does anyone know about anything about coldfusion image object. The following gets assigned to any image that I upload (the number after the @ sign changes for each) coldfusion.image.Image@17f79a8 Very frustrating!
I have the following function and in the WHERE clause, the s.subsiteURL no like '/training%' is working or something. It's still selected a sub site with URL starting with /training. Is there a way to output the result of this function to the browser?
