I'm not sure if this is because Ext 1 vs Ext 2, but in CF8 which uses Ext, there's no context menu when right-click on the column header. However, Ext doc does have a nice contenxt menu, demo: http://extjs.com/deploy/ext/examples/grid/array-grid.html Any idea how to enable this for CF8 CFGRID? I already tried going into cfgrid.js and added "enableColumnHide:true" in var _42 (line 18), but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

After building an archive car file on our Test server we want to deploy on our Staging server. The paths are different (drive and root). We change the deployment location for the files, but it installs to the same drive and subfolder as in the archive. How can I change the location from C:\mytest\webfiles to D:\mystage\webfiles?

I'll keep this short.I have TONS of CFTRY/CFCATCH blocks encapsulating different logic.  In the event an error throws, I send the CFCATCH data and usually a descriptive message along with the invokation to a custom tag called cf_errorhandler.  I haven't coded the logic yet in that page, but I'm wondering if this sounds convoluted.I understand that this will only address 'caught' exceptions, and I will utilize the onError method in the application.cfc for unhandled exception handling, but I'd love to hear other people's input on how their error handler for caught exceptions work. It's just that I get this feeling that I'm doing it the hard way.

Yes, as simple as it sounds, I cannot figure out how to do this simple a task in Builder. Used Studio for years, then Homesite, now forced to move to Builder.  (Call me old fashioned.)Already I don't like Builder.   It's SLOW. Huge learning curve ... I've downloaded the Coldfusion 10 trail install for OSx and the .dmg was successfully opened by the OS. However the actual install package opens and then becomes unresponsive... I have to use force quite to close the window

[ajp-bio-8012-exec-9] - Element SYS is undefined in CLIENT. The specific sequence of files included or processed is:We are getting the errow quite frequently when moved from ColdFusion 4.5 to ColdFusion 10 recently. I tried to use the default client variable storage to registry. Someone help me out on this error rleated to client varaibles? I'm seeing this issue recently after upgrading to CF10.

Weird problem.I have a set of test cases that pass just fine loading a known CMYK jpeg via ImageNew().  Later, with no restart of the app server, these same test cases fail.  Again, after a while, the test case passes again.  I've dug into the Java a little bit, and I wonder if the ImageReader implementation being used doesn't switch out once in a while -- like maybe a hashtable of ImageReaders reorders or something.I know the CMYK is only partially supported, but I could get data with ImageNew and ImageInfo showing it was a CMYK file, then later on, it would throw "Image Not Supported" errors.Anybody have knowledge of these inner workings to provide some insight?  Smells a bit like a bug to me, but I can't consistently replicate it.-Dave

Anybody got solution how to enable Robust Exception Info on ColdFusion Server 9.01 running behind a load balancer on AWS? One option is to disable the HTTP status codes but we do need the functionality. Please note that everything is working without the load balancer and the Robust Exception is enabled and we added our IP to the Debugging IP Addresses section. We have even added ISAPI Xforwarding functionality and we do see the correct IP in logs but CF Admin is still ignoring those headers. Thanks J.Edit: The same will apply to websites that are NOT behind load balancer as AWS is forwarding everything to a private IP so this issue is not just a load balancer.

I've setup an RDS server in CFB2 and can just about do everything with it except use it to synchronize my local files with the remote ones. If I want any type of sync I have to setup an FTP connection as far as I can tell.

Hi,My FCK ajax image upload is hanging. Clicked on the tab called "Upload" and the button called "send it to the Server" and the window is still open with waiting gif animation. I checked the file is uploaded to the server but for some reason there is no confirmation back. This is happening after I updated the Coldfusion 10 to Update 11. We are having major issues with the scheduler since upgrading to CF 10 (All the job are from CF 9 and had not issues)1. When I try to update a schedule task I get      Unable to store Job : 'SERVERSCHEDULETASK#$%^DEFAULT.job_BASICDATA1_LOADER (PRPMS)', because one already exists with this identification. and the JOB disappears2. I have several jobs that create text files and when run from the scheduler the file is not creates BUT when run from the URL work fine. Anyone using ImageCR3 on CF9 64-bit? I have been using ImageCR for over 5 years now and it is an awesome image manipulation tool. Recently we moved our site to a new server running CF9 64-bit. Efflare has a 64-bit version available (but it's still in beta) and I installed it and it was working fine. However, once or twice a day I get an error: "exception code 0xeedfade null." The only way I have found to reset things is to reboot the entire server. I've tried restarting CF, restarting IIS, restarting the ImageCR3 service and none work, only the full reboot. I have tried now for over a week to contact support at efflare.com; phone calls and emails and have not received ANY response to my inquiries. Anyone out there have any suggestions or ideas?

Lets say you have a project that uses two cfcomponent files, a.cfc and b.cfc. You have functions in a.cfc that you'd like to be available within b.cfc, for example, within a.cfc is a debug handler that I would want to be used inside of cffuctions within b.cfcPossible?
