I am using coldfusion builder 2018 to develop mobile application and 2021 coldfusion standard edition. I have developed a very simple mobile app which uses features like GPS, FILE, CONTACTS and CAMERA.  When application is installed in android emulator and executes, camera doesnt work. When i see permissions, all are present except camera. Please advise whats missing.All build logs are attached with this post.

Hi, I read that you can disable JSP at least on CF 9 - https://www.3gpp2.org/cfdocs/htmldocs/Installing/WSf01dbd23413dda0e5753779b11fae614009-8000.html by commenting out  <!-- <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>JspLicenseServlet</servlet-name> <url-pattern>*.jsp</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping> --> in  cf_root\WEB-INF\web.xml.We are using the same website to host CF and Confluence (confluence runs jsp) with a URL rewrite rule to redirect to a different port which works fine as long as the url does not have .jsp in it... but if the url does have .jsp in it CF takes over and tries to process the page so we want to disabke CF from taking over.The issue is that I can't find JspLicenseServlet in cf_root\WEB-INF\web.xml.Our web.xml is attached.

Most of the instructions online are retrieval and inserting new data on an existing database. I setup coldfusion builder and was able to add a datasource through the coldfsuion administrator. I am just trying to figure out how to create new tables in that new database. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I recently inherited a website that is cold fusion. There are some menu items that need to be removed because the pages are now defunct. For example, there is a support option in the menu that leads to a PayPal option which no longer exists. When I go to the manager group option is logged in as primary administrator, there is no way to remove that option from the menu.  How do I get rid of this stuff?

Hi all,   I'm trying to help a partner with its client regarding CF 2021 coexisting with CF 2016. The client do not want to migrate, but wants to be able to continue to use CF 2016 while start new projects in CF 2021.   The documentation (last updated in April 27, 2021 - see below) says that CF 2018 can coexist with earlier versions, but I couldn't find anything related to the 2021 version.     I'd assume this is possible, but I'd rather check with experts instead of assuming. When using htmal select tag I can show a message on the first option attribute to the user, such as: Please select a country :<fieldset><select name="Countries" class="stylebox" id="Country" required>     <option value="">Select your Country</option>       <CFOUTPUT QUERY="GetCountries">    <option value="#GetCountries.country#">#GetCountries.country#</option>    </CFOUTPUT></select></fieldset> Is it possible to do the same thing with cfselect and how? I put down my message in the message attribute of cfselect but it doesn't work. Hello So I have a page and when it loads I would like to have it insert into a table if a record is matched. In the body I have this: <cfquery name="countlookup" Datasource="#application.datasource#" dbtype="ODBC">SELECT id as idlxFROM usercount</cfquery><cfset idl = #countlookup.idlx#><cfif #idl# eq '449'><cfquery name="countlookup450" Datasource="#application.datasource#" dbtype="ODBC">INSERT INTO usercount (id)values (450)</cfquery></cfif>Issue I'm seeing is the page loads and doesn't insert anything in the usercount table. What am I messing up? I'm using Coldfusion 2021 woth SQL 2019. Thanks

Hello -I am using CF 2021 with Windows ser2016I'm attempting to run this simple .cfm from repl but I can't do it. Here's the .cfm.  Error Executing Database Query.[Macromedia][SQLServer JDBC Driver]An SSL socket connection could not be established because JRE 1.4 or above is required.Windows VM running SQL from Microsoft Azure. Having used CF for 20 years, moved to a new venue and established a dev server running CF2021.  We are about to spool up prod servers and buy the licence but there was this nagging issue.  On restart of windows servers, we would battle for varying periods to get the system up again. Tried restarting services, restarting computer, putting a delayed start on the CF services etc.  Eventually found a reproducible method to allow the system to come up each time.By executing the startup sequence as per the image, we can now get our system to start without issue.  Now to write a script to automate this by setting services to manually then starting in the correct sequence.VM is on aged hardware (10 years old) but abundant resources. To whom it may concern: I am trying to activate Adobe ColdFusion 2021 on a Windows Server, running in an environment where the server is restricted from web browser access. For this reason, I was forced to attempt to utilize the offline activation method. Upon doing so, I received the following message: "You cannot activate a Virtual Core license offline. To activate ColdFusion, connect to the internet from your server and retry activation."  Is there a workaround for this process?  I have 3 additional servers in the coming week that I need to upgrade and this will be a major blocker for my customer.

Due to many politics and things out of my control here, we will be continuing running a public production CF 11 host with no end date in sight. (which is part of those politics - they actually appear to want it to fail) Since it is unsupported and will never be updated, I’m just wondering if there are mitigation steps I can take to ensure even known issues are not available to hackers? Any extraneous services, packages, etc. I can make sure are off/removed, etc.? Appreciate everyone’s feedback.

Hello, I can't remember where in IIS you set up Coldfusion to handle all error codes. When I Googled it people say to use advance in application pool. Only issue is only option sI have in application pool are add and refesh. I have Enable HTTP status codes uncheck in CF admin. Any help would be great. Thanks

In Update 5 of the 2018 release of ColdFusion, the application flag useJavaAsRegexEngine was introduced. Hello, I just upgraded a server to use Coldfusion Builder 2018 to edit CFR files. Issue I'm seeing is it can't figure out the coding and opens them I think as raw data (see pic). What do I need to do in order to see them correctly. The old version of Coldfusion Builder was for CF10. So it's pretty old.Thanks 

Hi, I have a server running CF2018 and we have just purchased the CF2021 (both enterprise versions).  In previous versions of CF I could install two different version on the same server.  I think this is still possible but has anyone got any advice/guidance on the best way to do it? The CF2018 has production initativies running on it.  My plan was to install CF2021, configure, secure, migrate and then eventually unintall CF2018 once happy all is running well. Thanks Peter

I have an instance of CF 2018 Enterprise with Update 15, Java 11.0.13, running on a Windows 2019 EC2 instance in AWS.  I noticed that, in the Debugging and Logging Log Files screen, I am unable to select individual logs to view and, compared to another installation, the Actions column for each log is missing Actions icons (see attached).  I compared Debug Output Settings between the two installations, and they appear to match.  Looking for an answer to the difference in function.  Thnaks.

Good Morning All Is there a workaround to view logs in the Administrator/Console after installing 2018 Update 15? Update 15 removes access to View/Download/Delete logs. That doesn't make sense! Without the online interface, we have to log into the server to view the logs.

Simple question. Where can one locate the zip file for the silent install of ColdFusion 2021? I see the EXE on the Downloads page, but am unable to find the zip package.

I wanted to know how to make this work with Microsoft modern authentication which uses OAuth 2.0 token-based authorization. Any help regarding this will be much appreciated.

I have CF2018 installed with IIS v10.  I want to make use of the Web Sockets feature but currently CFADMIN only allows options to enable this on port 8581 or port 8553.  How would I configure ColdFusion and IIS to use Web Sockets over HTTPS on port 443?

I have Docker Desktop installed in my Macbook pro 13 M2 and the Apache2 of the adobecoldfusion/coldfusion:latest-2018 container keeps failing on starting; I already check the config using apachectl configtest, and it's returning OK.
