MS Access with Unicode doesn't appear in available drivers for ColdFusion 2016 64-bit

We recently upgraded to ColdFusion 2016.  When trying to add a datasource, Microsoft Access with Unicode doesn't appear in the available list of drivers.  We have a 32-bit machine and that does appear.  Is this simply how 64-bit works, or am I missing something?

    Hi @Edesrosi

Some years ago, we looked in this very forum into the use in ColdFusion of MS Access with Unicode.

I agree with Dave Watts on this.  Access should not be connected to a website or webapp.  Even if it's an intranet in a secure environment with <100 users.

MySQL is free, fairly easy to set up, and has robust features that Access does not.  Access is good for personal use to keep track of things, or even in some professional instances it might be good for this or that.  But not for a site or application via webserver.

My recollection is that this driver is specifically a 32-bit driver. There may be ways to get it to work with a 64-bit version of ColdFusion, but I would recommend against using Access with CF if you can possibly help it. And even if you think you can't possibly help it, you probably can.
