16 webcam limit?

Hi,

Are there a limitation of 16 active webcameras in Adobe Connect 8? Our university uses Adobe Connect for online seminars and also for exams, where the students have to identify themselves by using their webcameras. There seem to be a problem when sharing more than 16 webcams.

    To add to Heyward's comment...if you can't get your bandwidth adjusted, you can set the room bandwidth which will adjust your throughput...you can find this under the "Meetings --> Preferences" menu:

    

    Standard quality is the default setting...

    There is no limit. But each webcam can consume/generate network bandwidth of 300-600K which could be overloading your network routers. You would need to figure out what the bandwidth speed is of your network.
