Can anyone tell me if the Host of an Adobe Connect session has the ability to mute an individual participant from hearing a meeting?

No, you can't mute the audio broadcast for an individual. However, you can place Participants on hold, which takes them out of the room to a holding page and they won't hear the audio from within the room. Or you could just boot the user from the room and they would no longer hear the audio .
