Dear all:

I would like to know if I can use an IP camera with Adobe Connect 9.7 or 9.6 in Host (SAS) mode.

I really appreciate so much if anybody can help me.

Thanks a lot!!!

I solve this problem as this. First, plug-in second to the computer. Second, open IP camera software on second monitor then open adobe connect meeting room on first monitor. Third, share IP camera window on share pod. thats all easy.

I don't believe an IP camera will work in Connect without some custom development. Using one of the external video tools may work, but it would need some testing.

RefinedData and tecRacer have. You can find them on the apps page. http://apps.adobeconnect.com/

The pods are called TalkingStick and tecRacer VideoPlayer for FMS

If you want to tackle creating the pod on your won there is a free, opensource version of an external video pod here: http://github.com/connectsolutions/HDPod

You will need a media server in addition to the HDPod.
