Adobe Connect Android - several questions
All of the following questions are from the view point of an instructor using the Android Connect app v2.4.10 (latest version, today is Oct 05 2015)
- How can I login as an instructor, e.g. the host using the Android app? Currently I must login on my PC, accept the request from my Android table, then elevate my Android signin to host. When I signin on my windows PC I click on my saved bookmark, enter my userid and PW (actually this is automatically entered for me by the browser), I'm now on the logged in screen, I then click on my name in the upper right corner of the screen, I see my profile where I click on the "Instructor Calendar" link, I then see a calendar in the month view, I click on the class I will be teaching, I then see the info page for the class where I click on the "Launch Class" button and this opens the class.
- What should I be using for the URL in the Android app? Currently I have to use the actual meeting URL such as https://xyxyxyxyxyxyxyx.learnondemand.net/User/Login?ReturnUrl=/ I then get prompted for my userID and password. In that I teach a lot of classes via Adobe Connect I really don't want to enter the LONG URL for each meeting. It is far too easy for me to make an error when entering it. Sorry to say but I managed to make a LOT of mistakes entering the URL correctly. Plus when I attempt to enter the URL on my Android tablet several blank spaces were added in error. I assume this is something that Chrome is doing but it is creating a LOT of errors in the URL.
- Any suggestions for making the Adobe Connect easier to use?
