Adobe Connect Android - several questions

All of the following questions are from the view point of an instructor using the Android Connect app v2.4.10 (latest version, today is Oct 05 2015)

  1. How can I login as an instructor, e.g. the host using the Android app? Currently I must login on my PC, accept the request from my Android table, then elevate my Android signin to host. When I signin on my windows PC I click on my saved bookmark, enter my userid and PW (actually this is automatically entered for me by the browser), I'm now on the logged in screen, I then click on my name in the upper right corner of the screen, I see my profile where I click on the "Instructor Calendar" link, I then see a calendar in the month view, I click on the class I will be teaching, I then see the info page for the class where I  click on the "Launch Class" button and this opens the class.
  2. What should I be using for the URL in the Android app? Currently I have to use the actual meeting URL such as https://xyxyxyxyxyxyxyx.learnondemand.net/User/Login?ReturnUrl=/ I then get prompted for my userID and password. In that I teach a lot of classes via Adobe Connect I really don't want to enter the LONG URL for each meeting. It is far too easy for me to make an error when entering it. Sorry to say but I managed to make a LOT of mistakes entering the URL correctly. Plus when I attempt to enter the URL on my Android tablet several blank spaces were added in error. I assume this is something that Chrome is doing but it is creating a LOT of errors in the URL.
  3. Any suggestions for making the Adobe Connect easier to use?

1. When logging in on a mobile device, you should be able to use your same username and password and automatically be given the rights within the room associated with that login. I'm not sure what you are seeing that is an Instructor Calendar. It sounds like your organization has a custom portal through which you access Connect.

2. The URL  you should use in the Android app should be the same you use in your browser. It should be similar to http://connect.yourcompany.com/yourroom. The link you have doesn't tie to a room. The length of the URL can be hard to get around, as the server URL, xyxyxyxyxyxyxyx.learnondemand.net in your example, can't be shortened. But using a reasonable naming convention on the meeting room portion of the URL can help. For example, instead of having /astrophysicsandstringtheory101, use an abbreviation such as /apst101. Is suppose the other options would be to use a URL shortening service to get a small URL that redirects to your desired room URL.

3. Maybe it would be worth having a document on your Android device with links to your rooms, That way you could just open the document and click the link, rather than manually typing it into the app?
