Adobe Connect app won't open wheh Flash is active

I use adobe connect regularly and need the add-in to be able to share the screen.

To use the add-in I need to deactivate Flash in my browser preferences.

If I don't the dd-in won't open, I can't even force it to open.

Any idea why?

I use a macbookpro with the latest MacOs and Firefox version.

If you add ?proto=true to the room URL does it launch the App without having to disable Flash?
