Adobe Connect in College

I am supposed to participate in a college class with Adobe Connect. I regularly use a headphone/mic for other programs/apps, but when I try to use my microphone in Adobe Connect (when the class is in session), the dropdown menu to select the mic is blank. Can someone tell me what the problem is?

Thanks!

    Here are some common causes:

    • Is another application (Skype, etc.) actively using your mic?
    • Did you connect the headset before joining the room?
      • Did you go through the audio set up wizard (Meeting > Audio Set Up...)
      • Did you try unplugging and re-plugging the headset in?
      • Have you tried a different headset/mic?

Are you using the Connect Add-in? Sometimes that works better for audio.

You can get it from the help menu with in a Connect room or from this site: Adobe Connect Downloads and Updates
