Hi I am unable to use the microphone on Connect. Microphone works on other software such as Skype. When I go to audio setup, it does not allow me to record - no action when I click on record button. Running windows XP.  Have latest flash player, enabled microphone under flash settings and unticked echo cancellation.

What kind of microphone do you have?

Is that selected both in the Windows control panel as well as in the audio setup wizard of Adobe Connect?

"does not allow me to record" you wrote, does that mean that the recording button in the audio setup wizard is dimmed out, or can you press it but it does not record anything?

And to end this with a tip that might help you: do check if you have a mute button on your headset, maybe that is enabled/on....

Or check if 'Mic' is muted in the Sound properties of Windows XP.
