Adobe Connect session in multiple languages

Question

Is there any way of running a session where delegates chat in different languages? I know you can set your own default language in personal settings (which I assume then enables that language but I have not tried it) but could I run a session with more than one?

We need to run a session in English and Chinese. Happy to translate the presentation commentary but could questions be submitted in Chinese and answered in English? Perhaps the solution if not is to have it all as Chinese text and have translators back into English.

This functionality is not possible in Connect. There is not currently a pod that allows for multiple languages.

The two paths that I see would be to use two instances of the Chat pod to try to get attendees to type in English in one and Chinese in the other, or you could reach out to either eSyncTraining or RefinedData to discuss the possibility of developing a custom pod to meet this need.

You could develop the pod yourself, should you have the skills for that, but it never hurts to have a discussion with a group or two that have developed other complex custom solutions for Connect.
