Adobe Connect Video and Chromebook

We cannot get video to work on the kids chromebook for their Adobe connect classes. 

Webcam works with every other application but not Connect. When they join everything says it is on and the camera image is green to say it is activated but there is no picture coming up. just black. 

Does anyone know if this is a compatability issue with Chrome? The app is not available on the Chromebook that I can see so have to run through browser.
