Adobe Connect Video Uploaded Replay Issue-Edited QuickTime Videos Lockup At Edit Points

I've been using Connect as a Virtual Trainer for the federal government for several years. This problem has been persistant. When using Apple QuickTime Player to edit multiple MP4 videos into one, multi-segment video, the uploaded video will always "freeze and lockup" at the first edit point during replay. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks-
