Question
Adobe eSeminar sending broken link: "page does not exist"
We're having a problem where the links in emails sent by
eseminars@adobe.com are not working. Not only aren't they working,
but from the perspective of someone trying to participate in a
conference, they're failing in an obtuse and unhelpful way.
An example of a URL that failed:
http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/event/index.cfm?event=track&id=992842&loc=en_us
The URL ends up at Adobe's "Page Does Not Exist" screen. Same result regardless of whether the seminar is in progress.
Is the URL malformed? Is Adobe's own site misconfigured? This is with Apple Mail and Safari behind a NAT firewall. MacOS 10.4.
Not sure if this is the best forum, but since Adobe's eSeminars are using Connect Professional, and frustrations with one reflect upon the other, hopefully someone knows what's going on and how to get it fixed.
