This is not a function of the Connect APIs.

Just to be sure I understand what you are trying to do:

10 Attendees total

7 of the 10 need access to broadcast webcam, audio and type in chat.

3 of the 10 can't be seen by the other 7.

If that is correct then I would do the following.

Open the Presenter Only area. Move the Attendee list to the Presenter Only Area. This will allow the Attendee list to only be seen by individuals in the room with Presenter or Host rights.

Leave the 7 as Participants. Set the Webcam to allow Participants to broadcast video. Set Audio to allow Participants to access to microphones.

Promote the 3 to Presenter or Host.

Tell the 3 to not chat in the main chat pod. Provide a second chat pod in the Presenter Only Area for the 3 communicate. There is no way to prevent an attendee at any role from typing in a chat pod, so they may require a bit of training and/or guidance so they understand what they should and should not do.

If you hide the Attendee list so it is not shown then that would mostly obscure who is in the room, but there is no way to hide certain individuals without a 3rd part solution being used.

You could set up a room so it is configured as above and then move it into the Shared Templates folder. The APIs could then be used to create duplicate versions of the room and assign users to that room at the desired roles. But the APIs don't have any control of in-room functionality.

I may have an idea of how to make the 3 individual anonymous users, but I'll need to double check on what the requirements would be for it. The tool I have in mind isn't intended for this specific use, but It could probably be configured to work for you.

I'll do my research on my end and PM you more details.
