Adobe Presenter 11.1 suddenly died

Adobe Presenter 11.1.5 Build 68 not working after Jan 12, 2021. After Adobe blocked all Flash contents on Jan 12, 2021, many functions in Adobe Presenter failed to load. For some reason, Presenter treats imported videos as Flash and blocked them with a flash icon display and link to the end of life page. The Themes are also inaccessible. I contacted support at Adobe on Jan 12. The tech could not figure it out and wanted to email me back. I am still waiting for a response.

Not to be a downer, but I think some of Presenter's functions are dead at this point. Maybe the Captivate team will find some cycles to look at it again, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Things that won't work are anything that used Flash. My initial list of functions are:

Theme editor preview (you can still edit the theme, but you will need to publish to see the changes)
Interactions
MP4 videos (may work once publishing as HTML, but in PPT it previews the videos in a SWF player)
Publishing as SWF

There may be more, but unless a new version of Presenter is released, these functions are limited or gone.

Unfortunately, the end of Flash has caused unforeseen problems for many. However, most problems are resolved by upgrading to the latest product versions.

I'm moving this question to Captivate because Presenter is part of e-learning suite. But I suspect the experts there will tell you to keep working with Adobe technical support since you already have an open case with them.
