Adobe Pro Calculations

I am new to Adobe Pro. I have downloaded the trial version of Pro and I am attempting to create a PDF form that totals a list of dollar amounts a person would enter on the form. Is this possible with the trial version and if so is it possible that someone with limited knowledge like myself could create? Is a set of instructions that would help me with this issu? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks - Adam

I believe you mean Acrobat Professional. Books are written about how to do this. Look at

Acrobat User Community  there are mnay tutorials and eSeminars on demand. The pro version of Acrobat has 2 methods for crearting forms, Acrobat and LiveCycle Designer. Acrobat assumes you want to use LiveCycle Designer by default.

Acrobat Standard can create forms and perform calculations using Acrobat's Form Tool bar, but there are some limitations like the inability to create document level scripts in the Standard version. The link to the Acrobat Users Community and their articles and videos that apply to Acrobat are still helpful.

You might also want to look at the 'Acrobat' fourns on this site for more information.
