Allow direct entry for attendees

We use the Event Management module.  We mark events so attendees can join directly.  This option is only available after the start time.  In order to allow people to join directly in the 30 minutes prior to the event I have to set the start time 30 minutes before it really does.

This means the event will be publised with the wrong start time.  Email templates can't us runtime fileds for times and I need a seperate email for every event.

I was really hoping that they would change this so if the room is open or under preferences there would be an option where  I can say allow direct entry now like I can block attendees now.

Any ideas?

Hi Chuck,

Direct enrty for attendees are available 15 min before start time of event. So people can join directly into event before 15 min of event start time. So you may not need to set start time before actual event start time.
