Following the exciting updates in Adobe Connect, one more powerful feature is here: Simulated Live webinars.

Now, blend your pre-recorded video with the feel of a live event. Schedule a session, play back high-quality content, and choose to engage your audience with live chat, polls, and Q&A.

Key highlights

  • Run high-impact webinars without requiring presenters to be live
  • Repurpose your best sessions for different time zones and audiences
  • Engage participants in real time through chat, polls, and Q&A
  • Ensure consistency and production quality across repeated runs

Simulated Live room design

  • Lobby: Custom pre-event space with countdown and welcome message
  • Playback: Dedicated Playback Pod for video, with interactive transitions
  • Outro: Post-event layout for follow-ups or auto-end
  • Playback controls: Pause when needed; mic/cam disabled to preserve a live feel

Anyone else have a Live webinar load with Simulated Live controls but your Live settings still existed in the background and the 25 second AI generated tutorial video play during a live event 1 minute in? I think there are some bugs to work out. I opened a ticket to investigate, but do keep an eye out at the beginning of your Live events. If you see the simulated live grey bar when you enter your Live event you may see the same glitch at the start of your broadcast.
