Question

API doesn't get me real-time results

I want to find a list of users in a meeting. So I use this URL:

http://example.com/api/xml?action=report-bulk-consolidated-transactions&filter-type=meeting&filter-sco-id=169749

This gives me a list, but not in real-time. If someone leaves the meeting, this doesn't appear for perhaps 10 or 15 minutes.

How can I get results in real-time?

I believe this is due to the fact that this is considered an expensive call to the server. Meaning, that it can take a fair bit of system resources to collect that data. Thus, in the hosted environment, there is usually a 7 to 15 delay in updates to this information.

I believe in a licensed deployment, this will update more frequently, as there is more flexibility in the server resources.

I believe we have a licensed deployment. Is there a server setting I can change, or a config setting that determines this?

I would reach out to support to see if there is a setting for this. I've not had the chance to look for a way to modify the settings for reporting to see if it can be done.
