Every time we host a webinar we have several people who cannot get logged in. We reset their passwords and nothing helps them, they just get continually locked out. Has anyone else experienced this? I've just spent an hour waiting for someone on chat to join me and the clock is still running. I'm very frustrated as are my clients who are just trying to attend a webinar. Should be easy.

Are the attendee's joining through the events module? Are the accounts they created 'guest' account or full registed users? The reset password function doesn't work with guest accounts (known issue) and you would need to convert their account to a registered user to change their password.

Yes, they are events and they are guests. I did not know that function didn't work - it was what was advised by Support at the time, so good to know. If I convert someone to a user, are there any ramifications of that? Do I have a limited number of users?

Sadly, the recommendation doesn't surprise me, but then again, they probably don't have the archaic knowledge of a user of Connect for almost a decade .

The only real ramification is that they can gain access to the Connect Central home page, should they try. They would be denied access to anything else, unless you have a publicly viewable Shared Content library. But that is easily modified or content access can be controlled. You have no limit on number of users in your account. The limits are on number or people in meetings or accessing training, etc.
