Audio Issues - Intermittent cutting out

Hi,

 

I'm hoping someone can help. I'm new to connect and am having some issues with audio.

It starts ok, then cuts out intermittently to the point where most of what I say is lost. It seems as though when I select a different mic, it works again for a few minutes before breaking up.
To aid troubleshooting:
  • I have an excellent hard wired connection (350mbs down, 35mbs up)
  • I have tried three microphones
  • I use the same hardware for other delivery online without issues.
  • I'm using an M1 Mac Mini, with the latest OS 11.4 and version of connect and restart before the session.
I have attached a log file and I'm hoping that someone can help me work out where the problem is.

    Having the same problem with a Mac Studio (2022) Apple M1 Max.  Other folks at my school are expiencing the same problem, all with different macOS M1 computers.  

     

    Problem is independent of audio hardware (Yeti microphone, Jabra headset, mic on Logitech Brio) and does not occurn in zoom or other applications that require audio input.  Just Adobe Connect and just with Apple M1 hardware.

     

    May be some kind of memory leak.  Problem isn't always there, but when it happen it get's progressively worse until I have to switch to zoom to continue the class.

    shame. I was hoping that it might have been fixed in the latest update. 
    Online teaching with connect is now only a contingency so I'm grateful that I am not depending on it.

    Having the same problem and I found out it's related to using Adobe Connect on computer with M1 chips. After some time using the Connect application, macOs activitty monitor starts showing extreme CPU usage for the app resulting in Audio Dropouts. 

    I had to switch back to intel mac to continue doing my classes. Wondering if this is fixed with the latest version? Anyone using M1 mac and successfully holding classes without dropouts?

    Also any plan to make Adobe Connect native for M1 soon? Version 12?
