Audio/video delay in a live Meeting - Adobe Connect 11 standard view

Does anybody else have a problem with a very noticable video delay in a live event? It's not a one time thing or a matter of internet connection or a problem with the audio/video equippment. Every single live Meeting has a delay and I would like to know is there anyone else with this problem and did anyone manage to solve it?

    Hi, I am having the same issue in a small test environment I have set up.
    Have you been able to solve your delay problem?

    I am running Adobe Connect 11.0.6

    We have the same problem since October 2020. The only solution is to use the classic view for the presenter (or to use the HTML client). As soon as the (standard) app is involved the delay is there.

    We are also in contact with the support team since October and I had a live test with their team in India. So they know the problem and until now there is no solution for this issue. I hope the delay is gone when the 11.2 update is there...

    I asked the support team if the 11.2 update will fix this issue. Today I got an answer:

     

    "I am checking with engineering team.  Below are the release notes for C11.2.

    There are improvements in the codec that used in the meeting room.  The bug, in particular, is deferred to future release.  I would suggest to review once the upgrade dates are up."

     

    ... so maybe the issue won't be fixed.

     

    Are you all located in Europe or is this an worldwide issue?

     


    We are in Europe, Croatia to be more precise. But I've spoken to our partners in San Francisco and they are experiencing the same issue, so I believe it's a worldwide thing.

    Thank you for the info! We are all waiting for the new version release to see if there are going to be any improvements or are we going to have to look for a different app solution.

    We are having lagging issues also when you have the system dial to you it lags and also when we get in some people experiance the pods taking some time to load, This all started after the update on 9/27.

    Yes, same here. It was all fine before the last update.
