Backward Timestamp errors

Hi, I keep getting Backward Timestamp errors in the Servers Application Event Viewer but only when users are in meetings/using the service. The users are often from all over the globe meaning different time-zones and they mostly use their own home computers, could that contribute to the cause?

I'm fairly new to Server Management so any pointers would be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Simozone.

Server : Dell PowerEdge 1950 with Srvr 2003 Enterprise (SP2). No Connect Enterprise 6 Service Packs installed yet.

Thanks for your quick response - very much appreciated.
I'll be implementing SP3 when the students usage drops in a few weeks but i'll try the time sync before then.

    Thanks again,

oh, right, i see you do not have any SPs installed. So try switching off the time sync.

One reason for Backward timestamps is the windows time synchronisation. When you are in a meeting or especially when you record the meeting and windows syncs the time, you get these backward timestamps. Switch off the time sync or schedule it for times when the server is idle. If you're on SP3 also apply all the updates. I had to do both to get rid off them.
