Bandwidth requirements for Adobe Connect.

Question

I am living in an area where the government has shutdown high speed internet access and we only have GSM 2G connection speeds available.

We have been exploring virtual classroom software to be used for our online classes (for school). Will Adobe Connect work on 2G connectivity speeds on desktops and mobile phones? What are the minimum acceptable bandwidth requirements for running Adobe Connect?

Connect can be very bandwidth concious. You can monitor your bandwidth deman by clicking on the status or reception icon at the top right of the room. So long as you don't do screen sharing or live video, I suspect you'd be ok to run Connect with a lesser internet connection.
