Question

Basic PPT animation won't run after publishing

The first slide of my PPT has some basic animation (no audio). It works fine in PPT, but after I publish to my local server, the animation isn't there. The rest of the presentation works as it is supposed to.

Is there a certain way I have to save or publish the file to get a basic animation to run?

Thanks.
Kristi

    Hi,

Below are TechNotes that might help you address the issue you are having with animations:

Animations cannot be set to OnClick on Slide Master

Breeze does not support PowerPoint animation triggers

    Hope this helps.

I changed the "Start" field for the animations to "On Click," but this doesn't seem to help.

I'm trying to animate rectangles using the "Basic: Split" animation, and I'd like for them to start without a click.

Also, I am using Presenter version 5.1.269.

    Any tips are appreciated!

    Hi Kristi,

I created a sample split animation and works fine in Breeze. Please take a look at the sample presentation using the link below:

By the way, what version of Flash Player are you using? If you are using Flash Player 9, try reverting back to Flash Player 8 and see if it works. Below is the link where you can download Flash Player 8:
