Best Camera/Mic Setups

We'd like to get some high quality camera setups in Breeze. Webcams seem rather low quality, even the 'true' 1.3 megapix cameras. It certainly doesn't look anything like the demo provided by Adobe.

I'm think that a low quality digitial video camcorder would be the best solution, but having one of those on your desk all the time might get in the way. Any suggestions on quality webcams/mic combos? Maybe a small profile camcorder? Is a camcorder with Firewire necessary or will USB2.0 suffice?

How about a camera similar to one used in video conferencing where you can control the camera for conference room Breeze interactions?

I'm trying to sell this system to my organization, but the audio/video quality is something they don't like.

I think that newbies that are techie people are confused with the audio/video controls as well.

    for the microphone, its best to use just plug and play mics, like the logitech USB desktop microphone. Check this out:

    Well, I got a small DV camera with USB 2.0 and I'm not sure if firewire is going to make a huge difference. I'm worried about the difference in bandwidth for remote web conferencing actually. is something like this:

    Average Bandwidth:
    low quality video = few skips in video
    high quality video = many skips and stutters in video

    I also need to get nice setup that doesn't require headphones, but prevents an echo from speaker sound coming in through the microphone.

    From my experience, the small DV cameras with a firewire input work best for the most part. I would do a test as not all cameres have compatible drivers with Breeze. I hooked up one of ours handheld cameras with significant improvement.
