Blackmagic camera not detected in Adobe Connect

I have a Canon HD camera to a BlackMagic mini recorder box using HDMI, then using a thunderbolt cable we run that into a MAC.

The output video shows up in other applications like Zoom, but does not even give me the option under "Select Camera" in Adobe Connect Desktop. 

Help Please.
