Breakout Room Questions

I'm exploring the use of breakout rooms, having never before used them, and have a few questions.

1) Can each room have its own screen share pod, i.e. an attendee in Breakout Room 1 shares their screen for the room's participants while another attendee in Breakout Room 2 does the same?

2) Since each person in the breakout room is automatically designated as a Presenter, will it let me as host bump them back down to Participant without removing them from the room?

3) If a person needs to be removed from the entire session, would they first need to be removed from the breakout room?

4) If someone in the breakout room is disconnected, will they automatically reconnect the the breakout room when they reconnect?

1) Think of each Break Out Room (BOR) as a sub room within your main room. The pods and their functions is unique to the BOR unless you bring in a shared instance of a pod to one or more of the BORs.

2) You can demote them back down to participant when the BORs are active. You won't have to remove them from the room.

3) When you boot someone, you don't need to worry about whether they are in a BOR or not. Removing them will have them leave the Connect session.

4) Yes, Connect should place them back in to the BOR if they reconnect. It may promote them back up to a Presenter in the BOR, but I'd have to verify that. Just something to keep an eye on.
