We've had Breeze Live 5 at our campus for 3-4 years and have not upgraded to Connect Pro 7. My question is if anyone knows if there is a compatibility issue with Flash Player 10 on Breeze Live version 5? When we try to log on using any player > 9, it comes back with a message that says "Breeze Live Requires Flash Player 6.0.65 or newer", when I click on the 'troubleshooting link' here's what I get from the diagnostics:

Player:
Version:10 Revision: 12
Platform: WIN
App Server Connection: Successful
Connection: Successful
Protocol: rtmp
Connect Time: 462 ms
Bandwidth
Upstream: 6068 Kbits/sec
Downstream: 4733 Kbits/sec
Latency: 8 ms

Thanks for any advice or help in advance....

I know the patch for Breeze 5.x is ready ( http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=kb406864&sliceId=1), however I need the patch for Breeze 4.1. Do you think patch for Breeze 5.x could work for Breeze 4.1 ?

Do you have news about patch to fix compatibility of flashplayer10 with breeze 4.1 ??
I am trying to get more information about this issue and I found that Adobe have release the patch for Adobe Connect 7 and 6. I think this patch could work for Breeze 4.1 with a little changes for compatibility. What do you think ?

    link for patches for Connect:

Thanks Jorge for updating this. It works beautifully for Breeze 5.x of course. I don't know about version 4. You will probably have to ask your support contact. I got lots of information from our educational sales rep about this effort to patch our version. You might try that route.

I had contacted support about the issue but they told me that a patch for 5.0 is pending and would not be available until early 2009. so they said to downgrade to flash 9, this is fine for me as a presenter, but anyone who isnt a presenter and has auto update is hosed. Im really in a box here and now am forced to find a new product, now im very upset with adobe and dont think i can give them any money by going to connect pro, might have to look at webex.

Thanks...Confirming your report this is information from another channel of communication to which I have access: "We’re aware of the issue and are planning to backport the fix that we currently have in Connect 7 and Connect 6 SP3 to prior versions including Breeze 5.1 If [you are] on an active support plan, .... contact Adobe support so we can try to deliver this patch directly to [you] as soon as it’s ready."

[update: looks like the patch is out. See answer to this message!.]

    Hi,

I found that if you add "?launcher=false" to the end of the meeting URL (i.e. http://breeze.**.com/testmeeting/?launcher=false) it works. Don't click on ‘Get Flash Player’, just add ?launcher=false to end of URL.

Firefox is working, IE is not, any one else?

Thanks for posting, but FYI maybe your experience is the same as mine: I never upgraded my IE Flash plugin to 10, so it still has the older version of flash and it lets me get my work done. I did upgrade my netscape compatible flash player to 10 and that browser breaks my breeze live experience.

we've just encountered the same problem which has stopped us dead in our tracks!
Did you discover any solution to this?

No resolution yet. Our sales rep has offered to look into it for us, but that's not his job to track down software bugs. I've got a few other people I could ask so once I get to the bottom of it I'll post back. As of right now, upgrading to Connect Pro is not a solution for political and financial reasons.

I just noticed the same thing, first they broke 4.1 with flash 9, now 5.0 is broken? what is going on.
