I just took up a tech position at a marketing firm and they require video conferencing capabilities with clients in london. They currently use adobe connect but the camera is horrible and background light creates silhouette people. If anyone has information or recommendations for new cameras or other solutions it would be greatly appreciated.

You will want to use a camera that has some functionality for adjusting the color, contrast and brightness. For what it's worth the cameras built into the new Dell laptops work great in all light sources. Otherwise you can get a consumer level DV video camera with USB or Firewire outputs and connect that to the computer. You can then place the camera in any location in the office with the best lighting to give a good quality picture.
