Question

can mobile devices attend adobe connect pro meeting?

One my clients wishes to connect to my webinars (with adobe connect pro 9.2) with her samsung tablet, but when checking connection at https://zelb.adobeconnect.com/common/help/nl/support/meeting_test.htm

found out she had no flash player, and could get it either. I thought mobile devices could connect to Adobe Connect pro, apparently they cannot because they can not get Adobe Flash installed.

Is this true, and if so is this going to change?

If not what should she do to follow the meeting?

The mobile app is required, but it's also free. Links to the play store (and iTunes should you need it) are available here: Mobile video conferencing, video conferencing on mobile | Adobe Connect

When u check Adobe Connect - Android Apps on Google Play, u will see that someone said that: Als je de app opent ivm een video conference vraagt hij om flash player 10.3 en laat deze nou net niet beschikbaar zijn voor de mobiele telefoons als hier een passende oplossing voor komt dan is het een hele goede app en had deze app 5 sterren gehad, Samsung Galaxy S4. This is in Dutch but basicly it says that the app asks for flash player 10.3 to be installed, but that is not available for the samsung. Any idea's?

It sounds like that person is not having the app called on their device. The Flash Player check/call is for the browser. If they are using the app and seeing this problem, then they should probably reach out to Adobe to see if anything can be done to identify the problem and find a resolution. Adobe Connect Help (ConnectSupport) on Twitter (link provided to Adobe through the play store).

Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if the installation was corrupted.
