Can't seem to change my email

I am trying to change my mail email in my account. The current email is no longer available to me. I've tried setting up the new email I get a message that says

"Your account changes couldn't be saved."

And then I get a new screen that says


"FOR YOUR PROTECTION, PLEASE VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY."


It wants me to use the old log in email address to verify I'm who I am, which I have done several times, but does not allow me to change the old address to a new one. When I try to put the new email in the main field again I get the same information as above and I get a pop up message that says

"An email has been sent to your inbox. Please check your email to complete verification."


I'm sure the verification is going to my old email address, but I'm not able to get any emails at the old address, as it has been cancelled.

Please help.

    I'm having the exact same problem.  I have the full CC.
