Can you corrupt a room by not signing out correctly?

I've been using AdobeConnect classrooms for about a year in my office. Recently I started using the software in another department, and while being trained there was told that when you don't actually "end" a meeting, but just close out of the session window, classrooms can become corrupted and bug-prone if the classroom remains "open" for more than three days. I was not aware of that and I'm not sure that I *ever* correctly closed out of the rooms that I use for my office. Could this present long-term problems for the rooms? Should I delete them and creat new ones?

An issue that we've run into is that when we don't "end meeting" we sometimes lose information that was typed into the chat. This has happened a few times. We contacted Adobe support and were informed about the need to end the meeting properly.Haven't tested this issue out with the new version update.

Well there has obviously been some issue there, glad to hear that you had a resolution available.

With Connect 9.1 it seems the End Meeting function has been improved, and won't leave new attendees stuck on the end meeting screen. But you do now have to close and re-enter the meeting room, as there is no longer a Start Meeting button. So maybe this will become an easier workflow for you and your team.

I have worked with Connect since 2006, and I have never heard of this issue. A meeting room will not stay open/active for days after you close the window. It will either close: within 7-15 min of no one being in the room (of the Host leaving under the Named Host licensing model), or after 6 hours (I think) of the Host being inactive in the room.

Having a meeting open and active shouldn't cause it to become bug-prone, or we would see that on a regular basis. I suppose that this could have been an old bug/issue that someone has held on to over the years, but it is not the case today. Don't delete can create new rooms, that only makes more work for you, and loses any reports you have with your existing rooms.
