Cannot join live class on iphone

When I try to join live classes via canvas, it asks me to download the Adobe Connect desktop application.

 

Interestingly, a few weeks ago, the canvas link would give me a page where I was prompted to download or open the Adobe Connect mobile app; this worked seamlessly. 

 

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but I cannot join the live class via my phone. How do I resolve this issue?

    If the Enhanced Audio option is enabled, you won't be able join on a mobile device until the new iOS app is released. 

     

    They can turn this option off and the current mobile app should work.

    In my experience with this, from the time the "Enhanced Audio" was turned off in the web interface, it was over an hour before participants were able to join by phone... and I had to restart the meeting.  I'm not sure if this has been improved since it first came out.  In other words, you can't just flip a switch to disable enhanced audio and admit new participants.

    🙄 Yes, some changes require the session of the meeting to end. It seems the switch between Enhanced and Standard audio is one of those changes that you can't just make mid session and have it take affect. If you close out the room and leave it empty for 7-15 minutes that should allow the server to see that the session is over and close everything out.

    If you enable/add integrated telephony in the room, it should take immedate effect. Adding or modifying the audio in Connect Central may have the need to stop and start a new session about 15 min after you close out.
