Cannot View uploaded video in Adobe Connect

Good afternoon,

Having real trouble uploading .mp4 videos to adobe connect. Am uploading to a Pod that is shared with others and we can all hear the video but no video is showing, it is just black. The source video plays fine on my machine so the file is ok - any ideas?

It may be a codec issue. Do you have the ability to re-encode (convert) the video? With an MP4 you want to make sure it is an H.264 codec.

Odds are your computer is going to support a more diverse range of videos than Connect, so comparing a local playback to Connect's can be challenging. But, knowing you have a working video to start is good.

Will try some of that and get back to you. This all worked fine before Christmas and nothing has changed as far as we are aware so unsure what's happened!
