Chat received tone

As a user logged onto a meeting room all day every day where the primary communication in the room is chat between members, I am looking for a way for the room to notify me with a tone that a chat message has been received.

Is such a notification available, and if so, how to turn it on?  (As a room user, not host).

    There is no chat notification other than a blinking yellow tab when a private chat is initiated. We will forward the idea to product management.

    Thanks - would appreciate if product management would give us that capability.  There are a whole group of us in the same boat.  We miss a lot because there isn't an audio capability to catch attention when we are doing something else.

    Also helpful would be a capability to turn on time tags for the messages.

    Connect 8 does have time stamps and color and text size options in the chat pod. I have attached a picture.

    If a room host can turn it on for everyone, I would like to know that, too.
