Connect 9 issues with "Host"

After the Connect 9 update this weekend I am no longer able to act as the "Host" in a Connect meeting.  I have tried setting up a new meeting room, deleteing and then re-establishing roles, and tried different users.  Connect makes everyone a participant.  We have a large web-meeting this Wed and need the host to be able to advance the ppt and record the session.
